Spring?

Meg and Milo in a spring wonderland! Wait a minute...
My watch says it is March 28th. The calendar says it's spring. However, we are getting snow. Now. In Portland. What's up with that? Here's my commute this morning:

Crazy times. And speaking of crazy times (great segue!), we've been busy. We didn't think that working full time and planning a wedding was enough, so we both decided to add training for races. Meg is shooting for two triathlons and I am doing Robie Creek for the eight straight year in April, a team relay bike race in June (which most likely means doing the Reach the Beach in May) and then Meg tricked me into signing up for a triathlon, my first, in August.
But that wasn't enough for us either. So we are looking at buying a new house. We have the financing all in place, now it just a matter of finding the right house, in the right place, for the right price. Easy, right?
As for the wedding, things have been moving along. From the previous notes you know that the location, lodging, dress, catering where all done. Add to that photographer and DJ now. We are looking at invitations (I think we have one) and have done cake tasting. I need to get my butt moving on honeymoon details...
In other news, Meg and I both got older. Birthdays abounded, diners with friends had, and we are another year closer to that gold watch.
I haven't been flying much, but I did get checked out in a Piper Cherokee. Bigger and faster than the Cessna 150 I have been flying, and of course more expensive.
Oh, to go along with the "buy a new house" thing, the FJ is for sale. It would be nice to not have payments on that while dealing with two mortgages... Anyone want to buy it??? Come on, you know you do!
