Back in the Saddle

Their getting their Fash-On

It has been over six months since my last work trip, but I am back in the air. This trip is domestic, but it is packed. Early morning Tuesday I head to the air port and fly to San Jose. Meet with two different customers there in two different parts of town. Back to the airport and off to Dallas. Hit the hotel and wake up for a meeting there. Drive three hours to Austin, have a great dinner at Moonshine, then amble down 6th Street. Witnessed and American Eagle photo shoot (photo above) and then took in some live Blues at Nuno's (photo below). Tomorrow brings another meeting then it is off to the airport and back home.

Turning 33

This is Red 5. I'm going in.

A couple weeks back I turned 33. Yes, one third of the way to 99. I had several friends come by Ground Kontrol in Portland for some good retro gaming (see picture above) and even some less-retro Dance Dance Revolution (see pictures). Thanks everyone for coming, it was a lot of fun. Plus, I was surprised to find I didn't suck at DDR...

Meg, ready to go postal on that candle

Little Meggie became all grown up on Sunday by turning 30. We had a great time out on Saturday night with her friends at The Goodfoot and then lunch on Sunday with her family at Macaroni Grill. Happy birthday Meggie!!!

The Beauty of Turkey

Had I moved to Turkey, the thing I wanted to do most was to see the country. That won't happen now, but a local Turkish photographer has done an excellent job of seeing the country for me. Luckily he placed the gallery online:
