From the land of World Cup

Greetings from Berlin. The world (except for the US) is going crazy for the World Cup and I'm here on work. No, I won't get to go to the games, but every place has a TV set up and good crowds. Tomorrow, Brazil (the last Cup winner) will play Croatia right down the street. I've seen a lot of Yellow and Green people and Red and White people. They aren't English, so I'm not expecting any trouble...

Cape Lookout and Sand Lake

A couple of firsts this weekend. First, I bought my parents' tent trailer from them. So, yes, I am fully RV capable. My dad drove it out last week, so with it available, we had to use it. I was able to get a reservation at Cape Lookout State Park.

Second, after reading a post on the FJ Cruiser Forums about off-roading at Sand Lake, I looked into it. Turns out this is close to Cape Lookout, so why not do both? I put out a post and Patrick from Hood River answered the call; we now had two FJs in the dunes. Good times ensued! Check out the pictures, and here is the video:
