President's Day

Ready to head down
Meg and friends at the top of the Palmer snow field

Beautiful weather for this three day weekend. Luckily we has some friends who were on top of things and had a cabin rented up on Mt. Hood. Skied Saturday at Timberline and Sunday at Skibowl. After skiing, it was hot tub and playing lots of Rock Band. After getting home on Monday, I even found some time to get up in the air for 1.2 hours. Fun!

My pictures are here and Meg's are here. You're going to use PicLens, right?

Here is the cool tool of the week: PicLens

What does it do? It integrates with your web browser. When you go to certain sites, say Flickr, and you run your mouse over a picture, you'll see a small little "play" button appear at the lower left of the picture. Click the play button and *blam*, the once boring web page is now a 3-D gallery of amazing coolness. Give it a try!

Year Number Two

Contemplating years gone by...

February 13 marked the anniversary of Meg an my first date, way back in 2006. This year, we recreated that first night by going back to the Produce Row Cafe, and even getting the same table. Meg said I should have brought a single yellow rose, like I did that first night. When she finally stepped away from the table, I pulled one out. This year is a bit different than last year, now that we are engaged and in the midst of wedding plans. Now the question is, how do we celebrate February 13th with the new September 13th date?

Super Duper Tuesday

I hope all of you in the "Super" states are getting out to vote. In Oregon, we have three months to go before our primary. In other words, we have absolutely no say. On the Republican side, I'm really pulling for McCain. Not to sure about the Democrats yet, but I'm leaning for Obama.

How are the candidates doing? See here:
