Mmmmmm Beeeeer

Meg two-fisting the night away

This post is really just to make Josh jealous. On Friday, Meg and I went with a couple of friends to the Holiday Ale Festival. They had a ton of special holiday ales not only from Oregon, but from all over the West and Europe as well. Beers ranged from 6.4% to 14%. How much do you see of those in SLC, Flem?

You asked for it, the SLC answer to alcohol: Alcohol is a taste masking agent, so those beers with less alcohol are focused on taste rather than drunkenness….(i.e. Schmidt Ice). Of course, I am sure several of your “beers” tasted rather nice.

Mission Accomplished...Sir Bill.

I will just sit here in SLC and wallow in my 3.2 beer. Hopefully, we will be doing some home brewing this week/end so we have a good batch by Christmas.

Way to Griz/Liz!

Griz are at home versus UMass. If you can bust home from work on Friday, the game will be on ESPN2 at 4:30 your time. Home could be home or your favorite watering hole.

Peace out
Josh

I know that and Liz knows that. I believe Liz really wanted to emphasize who wasn't playing this weekend...

Mmmmm...beer is good. Uncle Bill, Jen told me to harass you on your blog if I want a response. I'm wondering if you could print, mat, sign, and send an 8 x 10 of your bowling ball picture from Christmas in Manteca bowling night, ASAP. If you're too busy on this short notice, I understand...just thought I'd ask. You could send it to Jen's house and I could send you a check ASAP. Let me know. Thanks!
