Pumpkin Pie Breakfast

Probably one of the best things about Thanksgiving and Christmas is having pumpkin pie for breakfast the next day. I had two slices this morning, and there is plenty left for tomorrow!

Thanksgiving turned out nice. I was lucky to be invited to my friend Cindy's house for the festivities. Her mom Pat was in town and two of her other friends, Evan and Chloe, were along for the feast as well. Pat cooked the turkey using a great brining technique that really made a super moist turkey. Cindy made a delectable sweet potato casserole, Evan and Chloe brought a tasty spinach salad, and I came with my old stand-by, the pumpkin pies. Pat and Cindy did all of the other accompaniments, and Cindy, with her art ways, pulled out the stops on the visual appeal. It was a great feast!

I hope everyone else got stuffed with turkey or whatever Thanksgiving goody temps you. Just leave the pie for me.

I had 3 small pieces of pie for breakfast the day after. Peach, Pecan, and Apple. Too much Pumpkin the day before Thanksgiving. I am glad your day was great!:)
